This morning I received the latest newsletter from Est Magazine - and I have to share this beautiful home with all of you.
Finding the beauty in simplicity is what the Danish design studio NORM does best. Founded in 2008, by architects Kasper Rønn and Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen, Copenhagen-based NORM specialises in all aspects of residential architecture, commercial interiors and industrial design.
The creative design studio has created this beautiful home. Raw materials provide the inspiration for the design of the home and studio for their client, an artist (I have fallen head over heals for the beautiful paintings!!).
Today is concrete floors at the top of my wishlist.

Bed linen by Aiayu
Today a new edition of the interior magazine RUM was released. You can read that the sustainable fashion and interior company Aiayu is coming up with a new line of bed linen. It comes in a nice cotton quality and in four beautiful shades: white, shell, ash and sea - all in 100% organic certified cotton.
The bed linen has a zipper at the end and comes in fabric bags - very handy.
Single duvet (140x200) and pillowcase: 995 DKK.

The hallway is often the first room that we see when entering a home - and we form an impression on the basis of what we see. Here you have a few examples of beautiful hallways. I love the simplicity in all of them.

Magazines
What to do with all your lovely interior magazines? If you - like me - have stacks of interior magazines and don’t know what to do with them, here’s a little inspiration.
Make a collage of some of your favorite magazine pages just like Desiree from Vogesparis. Or do as Nina from Stylizimo and make a magazine wall by setting up some ledges.

New chairs
I’m looking for new dinning chairs and a new armchair for a cozy corner in our apartment. These pictures styled by Helen Wiggers and taken by Line Thit Klein will be my inspiration. Wood, leather, steel - it will all be perfect. Notice the cool coffee table - a new DIY project? I’ll probably need a helping hand from my boyfriend!

Sweden
Sorry for the silence here on the blog the past few days - have had so many projects this week! This weekend we are going to Sweden with some good friends. I am looking forward - and hopefully there will be enough snow for cross-country skiing! Enjoy your weekend.

Paintings
I have started to paint! I am taking evening classes - and I think my friend and I are the only ones who are not over sixty, he he! But it feels so great to cultivate my creative genes. I have searched for some inspiration and found three pictures that will be my inspiration for tomorrow’s class.

Trivet set from Vipp
Wheels for hot pots and pans! Vipp send me these pictures with their new trivet set. They are very consistent in their design of products - the combination of steel and rubber is at the hearth of Vipp’s design dna. What do you think?
